Exportations: In 2005, eight Cotentin ass'foals left our borders. Six were sold in England, Belgium and Germany in 2006, and already an ass'foal has already beed reserved in 2007.
The Asinerie du Bocage takes responsability for all administrative formalities related to exportation (veterinary services, vaccines, blood analyses, quarantine, itinerary in the airport and negotiation of flights with air companies. Please contact us for more information.

all ass'foals which will be born will have a name which will start with the letter U.
Sales of donkeys of the cotentin
The first births are expected in March. Check regularly the Sell section. As the previous years, For any sale of Cotentin donkeys, the Asinerie du Bocage continues giving a training day.
Blood analysis
In 2005, a hematological and biochemical study was done in Normandy with 83 donkeys. The obtained results show that there are important differences between donkeys and horses.
New researches on parasites and abortion causes are currently done. So if note an abortion among your donkeys, you may contact Frank Ducombe Laboratory for a free autopsy. Tel : 02-31-47-19-19
Cotentin donkeys are fond of travelling !!
Pampa left France for Germany ; Qualine for Belgium, and now, 6 young female donkeys embarked at Roissy airport to reach Canada ( Quebec ) wher they now live happily with their new owners in Estrie.
This experience was really painstaking !
